About Health & Hijama

Brie Ra-Rose

The pandemic led me to undertake a spiritual journey which embraced my ancestors and guidance through holistic vibrations. This is why I changed my name to Brie Ra-Rose, taken from my Egyptian roots dating back to my ancestors, and began to explore ancient alternative therapies as an answer to physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing that goes far beyond the limitations of traditional medicine.

This led me to hijama/cupping, an alternative medicine used from thousands of years ago with many cures and promoted within the Qu’ran for its goodness and health benefits. I have found this to be beneficial in treating a range of health conditions and in supporting those suffering from mental health conditions including stress, tension and depression.

I am a trained beauty therapist and healthcare professional and have worked with the MacMillian Care Trust being qualified in Palliative Care for Cancer Patients. I am BLS and CPR trained, have a L2 Health and Safety qualification, have qualified with the NHS as a Phlebotomist including venepuncture and cannulation for adults and children, and I hold level 3 and 4 beauty therapy qualifications.

(of the islamic, lunar month)
then it is a cure for every disease."

About Hijama

An ancient therapy

Hijama, also known as cupping, has been around for centuries, being used many thousands of years ago in ancient Chinese medicine and being specifically mentioned in the religion of Islam for its spiritual and holistic healing properties.

Used as an ancient remedy to encourage the natural healing process of the body and prevent illnesses, it also helps maintain a healthy lifestyle by boosting circulation, removing toxins from the body and improving blood flow.

In fact, so efective is the treatment, it can be used for a range of ailments from blood pressure to skin conditions, auto immune diseases and even weight loss!
